Configuring ads

Ubik.com advertising service allows users to embed mobile ads within their published sites, monetizing traffic across their social network. Within minutes of completing a simple form and a quick site publish, Ubik.com sites can start making money. The revenue share split is 50/50 between Volantis and the site owner. UBIK.com uses AdMob as its ad provider.

Note: All payment transactions are made using the PayPal service. It's your responsibility to create and maintain a PayPal account.
Note: It may take up to 1 business day to activate advertising with AdMob. You'll receive a notification email once it has been activated.

To enable advertisement:

  1. Go to the dashboard
  2. Select a mobile website and click Details
  3. Click Advertising
  4. Click Enable
  5. Configure ad settings for the selected site
  6. Click Enable Advertising to complete

  8. Republish the site

To configure ad settings:

  1. Go to the dashboard
  2. Select a mobile website and click Details
  3. Click Advertising
  4. Click Edit or Enable
  5. Configure advertising. The table below lists the available options.
    Option  Description 
    Type of Site  Specifies your mobile website category. This is how advertisers will find your site through AdMob. 
    Site Description  Details about your mobile website such as usage or user demographics. 
    Ad Languages  Specifies ad languages. 
    Ad Categories  Identifies the category of ads accepted on your mobile site. 
    PayPal E-Mail  Your PayPal email address. Monthly payments from advertising revenues will be posted to this account. 
    Ad Scope  Choose to display adverts on all web pages, or on the main page only. 

To disable ads:

  1. Go to the dashboard
  2. Select a mobile website and click Details
  3. Click Advertising
  4. Click Disable
  5. Republish the site
